The Internal Auditing course will teach the skills needed for preparing for an audit, using effective auditing techniques and the reporting and follow-up of audit findings.. Through hands-on activities and simulations, the participants will learn the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, auditing terms and definitions, the process model, the process audit versus the system audit, audit skills and techniques, planning, preparing, performing and reporting the audit, and case studies in corrective action. Role play will be used to hone audit finding definition skills highlighting the differences between major, minor corrective actions and observations.
